Site-Specific Tumour Site Notes

Credits: Shefali Parikh (Group 1 notes adapted from Vanita Gandhi’s notes)

There are two groups of notes for site-specific tumours. These notes are to help you get started and provide a template for you to build your own. Please note, they are not designed to comprehensively cover all of oncology knowledge but to provide a high-yield study material for RCR examinations.

Group 1 is a 2023 update/”my version” of freely available notes that have been circulation since 2019 (see general tips on Part 2 FRCR for details and source credits). These are freely available on this site as well.

Group 2 notes are notes that are largely an original compilation. They are in various forms – mostly pdfs of tumour notes but also include alternative formats such as pictorial summaries (breast cancer). These require a one-time subscription to the site that grants access for a year to all notes. The one-time subscription also grants access to “Radiotherapy Management Notes” in the General notes section.

Hi, Gastric cancer isn’t noted separately. Sorry! (Not much RT in the U.K. and the systemic treatment is similar to oesophageal cancer in the metastatic setting. Although a separate notation I agree would be helpful. Sorry not yet available though)
